Live entertainment, booked properly.

Talent buying is a trade, not a directory. Royalsurprise tells you early what a name really costs, what it needs on stage, and whether it belongs in your room at all — then books it, contracts it and delivers it.

What we do

One agency, the whole show

Booking is where it starts. Most clients hand us the date and the budget and take back a finished night.

Artist booking

Direct access to headliners, support acts and niche specialists. We handle offers, counter-offers, holds and contracts, and we tell you early when a name is out of reach.

  • Availability & fee checks in 24h
  • Offer sheets and deal memos
  • Exclusivity & radius clauses

Event production

Stage, sound, light, video and crew, specified against the rider rather than a catalogue. One production manager owns the build from truck call to strike.

  • Technical riders reconciled
  • Supplier tendering
  • On-site production management

Talent management

Day-to-day representation for artists on our roster: routing, fee strategy, press, and the unglamorous admin that keeps a career moving.

  • Routing & tour planning
  • Fee and territory strategy
  • Press and release support

Brand partnerships

Matching artists to brands without either side losing credibility. We negotiate usage, term and territory, and we say no to the ones that would not work.

  • Ambassador & campaign deals
  • Usage, term and territory
  • Activation staffing

Touring & logistics

Visas, carnets, freight, flights, ground and hotels. The paperwork that stops a tour is booked before it can.

  • Visas, carnets, work permits
  • Freight and backline
  • Travel and hospitality

Private & corporate

Weddings, anniversaries, launches and after-parties, run with the same contracts and the same discretion as a festival main stage.

  • Discreet handling, NDA on request
  • Guest-list and access control
  • Full-service or booking only

Working with us

What actually happens after you email

No portals, no ticket numbers. A person reads it and replies.

  1. 01

    Same-day reply

Every enquiry gets a human answer inside the working day, even if the answer is that we are not right for it.

  2. 02

    Availability check

We go to the artists directly and come back with who is free, at what fee, and what the room would need to make it work.

  3. 03

    Agreement

One deal memo covering fee, terms, cancellation, rider and payment dates. Read it once and it is done.

  4. 04

    On the night

We are in the building. Changeovers, curfews, guest lists and the awkward conversations are ours, not yours.

Who we are

A small agency that answers its own phone

Royalsurprise was founded in 2012 by promoters and production managers, which is why our shortlists come with a technical note attached. We have loaded in at four in the morning often enough to know which riders are real and which are a wish list.

The team is intentionally under twenty people. Every client is handled by someone senior, because handing a booking to a junior is how dates get lost.

  • Senior handling on every enquiry, no exceptions
  • Production and booking under one roof
  • Straight answers, including the unwelcome ones

Questions

The things clients ask first

Still unsure? Email [email protected] — we answer every enquiry, including the ones we cannot take.

Can you get me a specific name?

Often, yes — and where we cannot, we will say so on the first call instead of stringing it out. An honest no in week one is worth more than a maybe in week six.

How far ahead should we book?

Headliners for summer dates go six to nine months out. Corporate and private bookings work comfortably at eight to twelve weeks. Anything shorter is possible but costs more.

What is included in the fee?

The artist fee, our handling, and whatever the deal memo lists. Travel, hospitality, production and local crew are itemised separately so you can see exactly what you are buying.

Do you handle the technical side?

If you want us to. We reconcile the rider against the venue, tender the suppliers and put a production manager on site. Booking-only is also fine.

Is there a deposit?

Usually fifty per cent on signature and the balance before the performance, though it varies by artist. It is always written into the deal memo before you commit.

Can everything stay confidential?

Yes. We sign NDAs as a matter of routine for private clients and can invoice through a named entity without the event appearing anywhere.

Send the brief in whatever shape it is in. Half-formed briefs are normal and we can work from them.
